Privateers Get Four Points in Lewisporte

Shawn Hurley got the win with 32 saves, while MacKenzie Landry took the loss, making 20 saves.

Saturday, Bennett scored the shootout winner for the Privateers, as they won 5-4. Mitch McGrath led the visitors with a pair of goals. Matthew O’Leary and Chris Murphy potted singles. Scoring for Central were Broaders, Jared Lush, Riley Gill and Jake Abbott.

Hurley made 25 stops, while Curtis Barrett was busy in the IcePak net with 37 saves.

This brings us to the Chrismas break, before all NLMMHL teams head to Halifax for the East Coast IceJam, in the first week of January.
