Global Warranty and the St. John's Privateers Join Forces

The St. John's Privateers have secured a major sponsor for the upcoming season. Global Warranty has come on board in this position. Part of the sponsorship agreement is that the company name will occupy the sponsorship bars on our black jerseys and a logo on our pant shell.

Our naming right's have been secured as well, and we will be known as the St. John's Global Warranty Privateers.

We would like to welcome Global Warranty and thank them for their support.

It is a great opportunity for both sides, as the Major Midget Atlantic Championship will be hosted in CBS this year, and we are the host team. With that privilege, Global Warranty will have their name reach millions of homes in Atlantic Canada alone!

This is a very exciting time for us as an organization, and we are eager to get the season underway. We have already had a great first week of training camp, and look forward to more solid competition in the coming weeks.

We have our first exhibition game of the season on August 28th at Yetman Arena (formerly Rogers-Bussey Arena), at 8:00pm. Admission is a non-perishable food item. Come out and see what's bound to be a great game! The Leafs are defending Newfoundland and Labrador Major Midget Hockey League Champions, and the Privateers are looking to get back to their glory days after a couple of rough seasons.
